An artist is a risk taker by definition. Parallel to producing Surrealism and Landscape art I began an experimental portfolio of works of varied conceptual themes and techniques, still primarily based in narrative art. I often broke out of a 2-dimensional format (sometimes as a part of the artistic statement itself) and developed new expressions of painting entwined with sculpture. Occasionally, I employed art sub-contractors to help me fulfill my visions. In my work, the idea or concept comes first, then I explore new techniques to realize my vision in each piece.
